Did you know that there are over 500 miles of bike trails, bike lanes and shared lanes within the city? To support bicycling access, safety and physical activity, Go Healthy Houston in partnership with the Houston Health, Public Works, Engineering, Planning & Development departments is distributing free bike racks to eligible applicant.
• Management Districts
• Community- Based Organizations
• Business Owner/ Commercial Property Owner
• Civic Associations/ Super Neighborhoods
You can request up to 20 bike racks of different varieties. Single Wave
Bike racks will be delivered to applicant’s chosen location.
Bike racks and delivery are free
Installation assistance is free in selected Public Right of Way locations
Step 1: Click HERE to complete the Bike Rack Application.
You will receive an email notifying you if you have been approved or denied.
Step 2: Once you have been approved, you will be emailed a Letter of Agreement to sign and return along with further instructions

Step 3: Following completion of the Letter of Agreement, you will be emailed a Delivery Form that must be completed and returned via email.
Step 4: Upon completion of the Delivery Form, you will be sent a confirmation email regarding the delivery details of the bike racks.
Please allow up to 30 business days for this response
Step 5: Within one year of receiving the bike racks, please fill out the Exact Location Form.
Please note that because of the great interest in this program, the Go Healthy Houston Bike Rack Program may take up to 48 hours to respond
