Emergency Preparedness for Chronic Disease

Houston has it's experience with both man-made and natural disasters, from things like hurricanes and flooding to pandemics like COVID-19 it's important to be prepared for these emergencies especially if you have a chronic-disease.

Prepare yourself and those in your family by:

  • Gathering necessities, such as: food, water, hygienic and medical supplies to last at least 2 weeks
  • Organize a 2-week supply of prescription medications ahead of time
  • Collect and store crucial  documents/medical records
